Will have pics of the interior up on Monday.
Thanks JT! Please let me know if you hear anything on the SDAC-Chicago list.
Thanks! Is he interested?
Thanks JT! It's in great shape inside and out, it's a prime candidate for a turbo swap. There aren't even any interior rattles when you drive it. Please let me know...
nobody?
I'm flexible on this, I just don't want to give the thing away. If you're interested make an offer and we can go from there.
It's in good shape inside and out but needs a little TLC.
It's a 2.5L TBI with an A520. The underside of the car is clean and the only damage to the interior is a tear in the carpet behind the...

I can take more pics if you're interested
cool, thanks
I'm getting parts together for a TIII swap into my 87 Daytona and I think I'd like to run some sort of intercooler that's larger than stock. Any suggestions?
That's insane!
edit: I want one
That's awesome. What if I don't have the rears? Are there part numbers available that I can source or is this a junkyard quest?
It's not bad. Just take your time planning and it's easy. Why reinvent the wheel when you can tweak it a little?
Why are they not reliable? Is there an average figure that it costs for the SRT swap?
Where are you at in WI?
Cool, what size wheels would I have to run to clear them? What do I need to do to convert the drums as well?
Cost is obviously a factor, but reliability is very important to me. I'm going to...
Damn that's a ton of TIII cars you've got there! If you're up for the trip and feel like helping, I've got a comfortable couch and a fridge full of beer. I'm on the south side of the city in Oak...
I have the FSM for the 87 car, do you know where I can find a 91 FSM? I've been watching the for sale forum and they don't seem to come up for sale much.
I can't see using the unequal length shafts when it's just as easy to swap the equal length ones in while everything's already out.
IMHO, it's easier and "cleaner" to deal with the wiring issues...
I'm planning on swapping a TIII motor into my 87 TBI Daytona and have the front half of a 91 spirit r/t as a donor.
Can I swap just the engine/trans and be done with it, or do I have to swap the...
I haven't been able to find a new seal anywhere, all the parts guys look at me like I've got an extra head when I tell them what I'm looking for. I found the anaerobic sealer no problems though so I...
even in the cold? wouldn't it freeze in 10 degree weather?
 block heater? that'd be really nice but I don't have one. Here's to hoping I don't have to heat it with a heat gun.
ok. will anarobic sealant cure properly in the cold temperature? It's in the teens now in chicago and I don't have a garage.
It appears to be metal.
Gotcha. I can't see it being a cracked piston though, it runs smooth like glass.
