Re: AZ Turbo Mopar Monthly Meet.

Thanks AJ but I don't think we'll have time to hang out for very long. I just wanted to swing in and say hi, get a feel of where you're located and put a face to the name. Plus I don't know how long...

    Re: Exhaust bolt installation issue

Best thing to do is to tap the holes for an 8x1.25mm Heli-coil. you can do it from under the car. The Heli-coil is Stainless so it won't rust. The bolts come out with ease even after 2 winters of...

Interior Re: A Pillar trim H body Lancer 87-89

I've got an 88 Lancer Shelby that's going to the scrapper. Pretty sure the a-pillar trim is still good in it. But it is lighter than my 87 Shelby Lancer's.

    Re: replacing vacuum lines

    I can't see the pic.

The lines on these cars are nylon. You can get 100ft 5/32 and 1/4" rolls here for cheap: that'll last you forever in replacement amounts.

  13. Re: Shadow / CSX-T rear suspension resto help

    +1.

Did you get another CSX-T rear end? The bushings are different across years and models. The best is the 86 Turbo Z CS and 87/88 ShelbyZ rear axle. The bushings are solid and rock hard. I made...

Re: CB water pump on a 87 T1

yep, run the old pump, port it's housing especially where it meets the block, a little around the pump fins and inlet on the bottom. Shave down every other fin on the pump and go.

Re: CB water pump on a 87 T1

why would you want to use the crappy CB water pump anyway, It cavitates the air. The housing is better but the pump blades suck.

Re: abrupt momentary shut off of engine

The PCV valve probably isn't air tight. I wouldn't use that as a vac/boost source. The actuation level at the grainger will be different depending on where you have it getting it's source from. Off...
