Could be blowing out the spark. Try running a tighter gap on the plugs and see what happens.

I haven't done a Daytona but it's probably like the other Dodges. Yes the steering column needs dropped down and the dash pulled out of the way.

What are your plugs gapped at? If this is just happening under boost you could be blowing out the spark.

Yes the timing would be off. I'm just wondering about the cam profile. I accidentally stuck a slider cam on a roller setup before and I don't think the valves were completely closing. I'm wondering...

I'm pretty sure the cam timing was dead on, spark timing is right on 12. Just haven't run compression test yet.

Yep, there's two of them:). Your symptoms sound typical of one not working from some owners. I've got to get the fuel lines for mine, sucking air after sitting overnight.:(

Wasn't the previous owner having overboost issues? Could be you inherited problems caused by previous detonation.
