I probably have an extra if you can't find one closer.
Thanks

I have a pair of OEM inner CV's only from a 1987 Shelby Z if anyone needs them.
I had the shafts shortened but it didn't work out and I saved the inners.
Thanks
Randy
It's not recommended to use a gasket on the int shaft seal retainer.
Anaerobic sealer. Mopar prefered.
Thanks

I went to pick n pull on...
I believe this is a pic of Barney Navarro's AMC Turbo 199 that almost ran at indy.
The 199-232-258 Engines went on to become the famous JEEP 4.0L

Great!!
It's going to be easy measuring the stroke and eyeballing the pistolioas!!
Thanks

Welcome:
I didn't know Barry personally but he was well known and respected.
I knew he had a GLH-T and always thought he had a Daytona R/T
Waiting for pics!!
Thanks
Randy
I used to think I knew a little but now I know
that I don't know what I thought I knew.
I didn't know they had very specific brakes.
Always thought they would be 88 or 89.
Thanks
Randy
Vigo, I think he had the head off a while back.
Haven't heard from you in a while.
I hope all is well in your life.
Thanks
Randy
Wastegates bypass some exhaust from the turbo to prevent Turbo overspeed.
You usually don't hear them but if you did it would be an exhaust noise.
What you're probably hearing is the blow off...
Welcome!!
Not exactly the best place for V8 Turbo info as were mostly 2.2/2.5 here.
Someone much smarter than me will probably have some suggestions.
Kind regards to 'Er Indoors
Thanks...
It's the crankshaft that determines if it's a 2.2 or 2.5.
From 1989 on the blocks can be interchangeable.
As mentioned, measure the piston travel from BDC to TDC
A 2.5 will measure a bit...
I think I saw your thread on the other site and am curious as what misinformation you got??
Both sites try very hard to provide good info.
Thanks
Randy
Great pics Todd!!
My neighbor is a crack welder and installs drains just like yours for me.
We appreciate all your great informative posts with pictures.
Especially your posts where you...
006 was the original style but obviously many report using the 005 in it's place.
Thanks
Randy
When did this change??
P4452005 - non-cross-drilled head and block
P4452006 - cross-drilled head and block
Thanks
Randy
006 was the old number for 2.5 T which are crossdrilled.
005 was for non crossdrilled Engines.
Maybe the new # covers both?
Thanks
Randy
I wasn't criticizing your choice, only commenting on your bolt on intentions.
Since you have an adapter, you're obviously aware of the differences.
As mentioned above, the cover is different...
Asking for a friend.
Are you sure you mean a stock T-I Garrett?
A stock T-I Garrett is a draw through style.
Somewhat different from a stock T-II Garrett.
Not impossible to do, just...
Good job James!!!
Thanks
Randy
It was common to stake oil gallery cups on SBC's with their cast iron blocks.
There are more dud mechanics than dud T-M cars.
That's my observation.
Thanks
Randy
Well done Mike!!
Thanks
Randy
Point is you can't properly clean the head without removing the stock plugs.
You can replace the stock core plugs if you don't wish to use threaded plugs.
Most shops don't remove the stock core...
Good point.
Advanced cam timing increases low end and falls flat by or before 4,000 RPM.

Randy
Harry placed the IAT sensor in his intercooler pipe.
