It actually does fit with power steering, as long as you use the T3 bracket and ZF pump. The firewall does need to be pushed back about 1", which is very easy to do by using a bottle jack against...

Yes, I've had it on the car since SDAC 2xxx?? (when it was in PA). It was wired to run at 100% full time. I never measured the amp draw, but it worked fine even at idle with an underdrive pulley...
