Well you know, Aunt Jemima is running a special on 0w1.... maybe I can put that in...
Cool. Really cool. I'm jus so excited to have this car running. I'll have a good talk with them. At the very least I am installing a transmission cooler in it to try to help the longevity. And an...
Anything to the hype about it and is it worth it? Also, is it compatible with an 89 A413? I have a brand new full rebuild being done on one and I just want to make sure that whatever fluid I put in...
I didn't look fake, but I didn't get a good long look at it and with the rock music at loud, I could hear it.... guess I should have been more observant. If I see it again, the cell-cam is all about...
Okay,
Excuse me if I seem ignorant, but as I was driving home today, I saw a PT cruiser with a cut out of the hood and a rather large looking blower motor sticking out from under the hood. I didn't...
turns out it was a multifunction switch. Just replaced it. It works beautifully now.
well, after a few checks, I don't *see* anything amiss in the grounds or wiring, but I could be wrong. Now to convince others that I can't be out after dark now...
in mid process of doing what you are thinking of doing right now (of course, I have been in process for what, over a year now????)DOH!:banghead: :banghead: :banghead: Not bad if you have help....
Okay,
So on my 1996 ford thunderbird, I can't seem to get any headlights on when you turn the switch on. It does have the auto headlights option as well (always turned off) So what works:
1. High...
I managed to get them off today. took quite a bit of work, almost looked as if they were rusted in. One step closer. WOO HOO!

yellowish thread locker actually is what it looked like. The hammer would be what I am missing in this equation. I was trying a screw driver to stop it from turning in one hand and my box end off set...
Any tips on getting them out on an 89 A413 mated to a 2.5? I'm having a heck of a time trying to get them out, I sprayed the devil out of them with a bolt loosener. I got 1 out and it looked almost...
Ah well, Gary, I have some large rolls of big bubbled bubble wrap to cushion the fall... I'm going to record video of this too... should make for a fun how not to do this. The bang from the popping...
Hmm, from what I am hearing, it may be best to spring for some pizza and beer for some of the local guys to come down and help out.
I think 22mopar said that the headbolts from a Ford 2.3 (with the head of the bolt cut off) work beautifully for guide studs. I may try this out with my transmission swap too.

I'll get pics of how high up mine is. I'll also be collecting some cardboard as I go out on calls to be able to cushion the landing of the old transmission. Mainly to save the asphalt that is still...
That helps. that is about how high I currently have it. Soon as I have the time, I'll get together a nice cushion of cardboard boxes and then move from there. Wish me luck, I'm going to need it.

Okay,
So I am working on my lebaron, 89, with an a413 in it. I am getting everything disconnected etc. that needs to be. But I am having a slight issue. How high is it feasible and possible to...
It is a shame, but I remember the fight was that the federal government told montana they had to actually have a posted numerical limit, or they wouldn't give them any money for the freeways etc. As...
That's how I did it too. Of course the length of the wires attached is a totally different question in my case....... can we say, RAT'S NEST?
That would have been funny to see... The aftermath, that would be a different story, but at the moment, I'm sure it would have been funny.
I believe they are pretty much unimproved stockers really. I remember about dropping over at that price when I was pricing out for my lebaron.
I was looking at dealing with TX when my auto went out. They were a bit pricey for a full rebuild, but they had one sitting ready and didn't even bat an eye lash. From what I understand, they are a...
sounds just like a fairly unresolved issue with my 89 T1 Lebaron.

I stand corrected :) Of course, that happens quite often it seems with cars at least.
