Nice work Warren on figuring this out. Hopefully your fixes will help those out who haven't been able to get them in with cutting the axle.

I haven't but wouldn't mind checking out some places. We will have to do that. You can see the PT Cruiser I newly acquired.
Glad the case worked for you Stephen.:thumb:
Anyone send them in and get them back yet? I sent mine out the end of last week and they got them on Tues. Not expecting them back this week, just wondering what turn around was for anyone.
Thank you. This is what we all were thinking, but I wanted to rule it out before we went back to DSS with our complaint. My figuring was about 3/4"-1" on the long shaft and 3/8"-5/8" on the short...
So JT, you getting in contact with them to see what the deal is? Also, could it be that they compress further than the stock ones?
Mine came out long too. I got 24 7/8" and just a tick over 40."
Just measured a stock driver's side and come out with 24 1/4."
You can tell from spline to spline, they are too long.
JT....I hope you know I was just F*cking with you....lol. I know these will take time.
Is this where we talk about the lack of communication and that we think we are getting scammed by a fly-by-night company????
Any news JT?
So I take it being Friday, we won't hear anything, right?
Anything? Or am I just impatient?
Boo!!!!! I want my money back.
What about now?
So since it looks like I am one of the first to pay, I should see them by Friday, riiiigggghhhhhttttt????:eyebrows:
Just sent my email. Sent the second one with the rest of the info.
No worries, just wondering. I'm building my shed so the S is still in pieces.
JT, will it be later in the week when you hear from them?
For some reason I thought they were bigger. If I wasn't in on this, I would consider modifying one and see how it does.
I meant the outer joint splines won't fit into the L-body wheel bearing. Isn't it too large?
It won't fit the L-body bearing, correct?
Hurry up so I can max out my Am-Ex card and file bankruptcy!!!!
Ok.....fine.....I'll confirm, geeze.
I checked a Chinese axle I have and got 24 3/16" length for the driver's side. 24" length sounds right JT.
