i've had this happened to a couple of turbo dodges after they sit for awhile. although, my method for fixing it was driving down the road with the clutch in, brakes pressed, and the throttle floored....

yes... that's exactly what it looks to be doing.

what do i do to correct that? .... i need to switch to 91+ knuckles?

you can shake the tires all you want, they won't move. jacked up, under pressure, etc. the "stud" on the balljoint is tight and hard to move by hand.

if you stand on the bumper and jump, you will...

doh... my bad. mine are 90+ then... as they're not stamped.

if i remember correctly.... there's stamped steel, cast steel, and cast aluminum?

if that's the options... i have the cast steel.

Let's start this from the beginning

The car is an 88 Shadow with a T3/568.

i had a new intake built, with a larger plenum. during the installation i managed to smash the oil feed line for the...

i'm running the solid steel a-arm k member with 88 knuckles.

there is about 1/8" of slop between the a-arm and the knuckle. the pinch bolts are the factory 88 bolts.

are my balljoints just...

it seems to be way faster. although, it's just a seat of the pants measurment. we all know how accurate that is. however, i picked up ~40hp on the dyno, and this feels as if i picked up at least...

it's in an 88 shadow.... but it's a 92 r/t motor.



yeah, it's not looking good. i was hoping to get down to gainesville next week and get some seat time before no lip. i guess that's not going...

i've had too much on my plate lately. i finally got around to installing this thing tonight....

long story short, this thing made a HUGE difference. i'm VERY impressed.

the tip in throttle...

my buddy says "take that intake off, i want to make it bigger" ..... so i said "ok"

it's a 75mm TB... i'm not sure on plenum size, but it's much bigger than stock. we also gasket matched in...

drop the 2 ends of the sway bar and push it out of the way. (not really needed for removal, but makes installation easy)

then... pickle fork & hammer. 1 or 2 wacks and it's done.
