Thanks Miles for taking the time for responding. Some good stuff there, unfortunately I can't seem to find the info I need.
Can anyone else chime in here? Need to know which [rear] pads and rotors...
I've been using the search feature to find information on the rear brakes but haven't had any luck...if someone could point me to a post about it or the part numbers I'd be grateful.
Anyone know...
Man I'm all ears to hear if you figure out what your problem is...got a very similar issue with a 92 IROC. Have added extra ground straps, swapped fan relays, wiggled every wire I could think of, and...
Congrats on a great looking Shadow, the white paint looks super nice. The white 89 I own has been losing it's paint for years unfortunately.
Hopefully your car shows up in as nice of shape that it...
OK great, thank you very much
After ordering both clutch kits, here's a couple pictures.
The 8.5" clutch...the pressure plate is also smaller, it didn't line up with the dowels on the flywheel
TIII 2.2...VALEO 52151405 OE...
Hello again...the distribution block from my buddy ended up being the wrong part, it was the later style that is much beefier. I still need the earlier style that has the smaller threaded boss, like...
Glad to hear there werent any serious injuries...holy cow. If that trucker didn't have spotters he should have at least put out cones, damn that's disappointing.
I believe I have found one and will be meeting up to get it this weekend...if things fall through I'll get back with you. Thanks for the response, I appreciate it.
Thanks for the suggestion...well I'm confused why they list the larger clutch for the TI car? Think it's a typo, or are the parts listed wrong?
I guess I'll find out as I ordered 1 of each lol
I also have a question regarding a clutch for an A568.
The vehicle in question is a 1992 TI Daytona.
Rock Auto lists a different clutch for both the TI and the TIII.
Any reason why I...
Hey guys I'd like to buy an older distribution block with the smaller threaded port, not the larger one that the common block engines received.
Please PM if you'd be willing to sell me...
Great looking Spirit, congrats...all you need now is a white Omni!
Kudos for snatching them up while you can, as you're aware the good examples are disappearing fast
Best of luck Alan. I'm in the same boat as you...can pull drivetrains in my sleep, but am confused as hell with electrical gremlins. Crossing my fingers for ya bro
Wasn't able to make it to SDAC, curious how this gem turned out...and really interested how Cordes is doing on his roadtrip headed out west!
Looks great, very nice work! I've envisioned someday fabbing up the exact same setup for my son's 92 Daytona.
Alan, just find Brian and Joy another super nice example of a rust/rot free California mopar to drive back to Illinois...nothing better than 2 killer back-to-back roadtrips :eyebrows:
There's something very satisfying when saving a car from the clutches of the boneyard, great job! Also glad to see you out on the road, turbo mopars should be daily driven as much as possible...would...
Glad to hear things seemed to have worked out for you, sounds like you've been majorly busy!
Your car has a neat look to it! Thanks for sharing, and enjoy the journey!
Ok cool, thank you both very much, greatly appreciated :thumb:
I'm sure someone here knows the answer to this off the top of their heads...the diameter of the clutch/shifter cable holes that are cut into the firewall/floor...if it makes a difference I'm using...
You've got lots of room in that driveway for a few more turbocars :thumb: And that OTC is a handy tool, I enjoy owning one, congrats!
Wow, that's a crazy chain of events...as mentioned before, glad to hear there weren't any injuries.
