    Re: Show Off Your Mini!!

The 2nd gen K member does bolt right up to the 1st gen van but I heard you have to use the 2nd gen knuckles/spindles along with it otherwise it could pull your axles apart. You then use front wheel...

We can do an impromptu meet/barbecue at my shop. I always keep beer, burgers, and hot dogs on hand.

Re: Billet forward and direct drums

Since I stopped welding braces in the case I haven't had any case issues. I'm breaking internals. I'm putting out 395 HP, 450 ft/lbs torque in a 3600 lb van.

Re: Billet forward and direct drums

If and when these come to fruition I'll probably be in for two sets. Just blew out the snap ring retainer tangs on my forward (rear most) clutch drum in my SRT4 van losing all forward gears. I...

Contact Martin Kolner on here. I'm pretty sure he has that stuff.
  8. Re: A413 31TH Alto Power Pack Red Eagle Frictions and Kolene Steels Group Buy

Sweet. I should have my 31TH rollerized in the next week or so (I think I finally found the right bearings). I'll wait to put it together with the Altos.

    Re: Roadblock of electrical issues

I had a problem with my 2.5 turbo Caravan running an Ostrich. My problem was over 5 psi of boost it would start bucking and if I stayed in the throttle it would stall. Worked fine with a burned chip...

I just went through the same thing to get rings for my 2.4. It took two parts stores and three tries to get the correct ones.

    Re: Knock threshold

I'm a professional mechanic and I've been burned many times overlooking the obvious. Chrysler wrote the knock table to be read through and intake manifold and through a gasket. You streamlined the...

    Re: Knock threshold

When I was running my 2.4 with a SMEC I drilled and tapped a spot in my intake manifold for the knock sensor between cylinders 2 and 3 like Chrysler intended on the 2.2/2.5 and I didn't have any...

Re: Which TB to choose ?

I was wrong. I found my old throttle body and put the part number 4861333 into the google webs and it came up as a 1999.

Re: Which TB to choose ?

I think the one I got was off of around a 2006 Dodge Gr Caravan H.O. 3.8 and is a direct fit unless you have an automatic. There's no place to put the kick down cable.

    Re: Let's talk pipe size

The factory air box/air filter is pretty small. Being in AZ I wanted to continue pulling air through the SMEC (when I still used a SMEC) so I went with a Ford V8 enclosed air filter. Last time I...

Re: Which TB to choose ?

I'm using a '97 Ford 5.4L throttle body on my 2.4 in my van. I got it out of the junk yard for like $34. The throttle blade is 2.75" but it necks down to 2.6" right before it. Since my intercooler...

Re: Billet forward and direct drums

The point of these drums is to be able to use the more common high performance 904 clutches and steels. I hope some forethought goes into the pistons to be able to use 904 seals and o-rings.

Are these going to be complete, ready to go drums with all springs and pistons needed or are those pieces going to have to be sourced afterwards?

  24. Re: A413 31TH Alto Power Pack Red Eagle Frictions and Kolene Steels Group Buy
