Looks like the one that was at SDAC with the broken front airdam.
I'm bringing pieces of an '89 CSX. Can I put them on the show field between you guys?? I'll bet I win 1st!! haha
Hey T - The CSX looks great w/the new bulged hood :thumb:
Starting work on #299 here hopefully within a week. Goal is to have it on the road by the end of July. Anybody have an individual, decent condition, Shelby recaro for sale?
Damn Bill! That looks GREAT! :thumb:

T! I thought you were selling me those seats to use in my Shelby Charger??!! I understand though, they'll be bad --- on a tractor! Can I have the other one to mount up on my new John Deere??? Maybe...
Ding ding ding! You got it Fox. I told Billy I wasn't sure if someone would recognize if it was a Razzi one or not. I really like the looks of it. There's a CSX for sale on TD right now, #361, that...
  Hmmmmmmm don't tempt me!
Well, I've joined the club :) #299 here checking in. Recaro car and restoration project. Woo...303093030830310
We'll get some pics up later. Just more and more and more and more disassembly haha. Looks like less of a car each and every day!
On the block above where the transmission bolts up. You'll probably have to scuff the area up with some sand paper to see it.
Oh yeah, it was a great setup for sure. I have no desire to do a hybrid swap or anything like that though and this is why we decided to sell everything off. Did get me a very sweet transmission...
To make a long story short -- we bought the car, it was a rusted p.o.s., and we stripped it clean. It is now smashed into a small metal cube and is probably on its way to China.
Billy...
Don't give Billy all of the credit, I helped tear it apart too!!! :)
Not to mention the rear frame rails were shot, rad support hacked up, front windshield frame rusted out. R.I.P. you P.O.S. :thumb:
He still has #414 sitting in storage. #214 is both of ours for now until we decide what we are going to do with it :thumb:
Welcome (even though I'm not technically in it) to the CSX-VNT owner's club, T-Unit!!!
It runs. Yay! Now you can help me finish my car :D
Yeah, I was surprised when I learned about this. Subtle little differences though too, not just the fact that the repros are made of fiberglass and the original ones of urethane.
I told Billy that we should drill some large holes and use about four or so 9/16 in. bolts w/washers to hold it in place. He won't go for it though?   Says that wouldn't look...
