I have an 89 Shadow ES that I am converting to the 11 inch front brakes and intrepid rear calipers. The prop valve I have now is a green tag but I cannot find any info on them. Which prop valve do...
Sorry I didn't know there were so any different types of steering wheel.
Here's a picture of mine:

I'm looking for a non-airbag steering wheel for my 89 Shadow. I really only need the rear trim piece that has the contact ring for the horn but I'll take the whole thing if you don't want to...
I haven't had a chance to try it yet, I've had too many other projects to work on lately. I'll post up if/when I try it.
The lines and reservoir location is going to be different for each car but for my Shadow I was thinking in the cowl area next to the windshield washer fluid reservoir.
I was looking around at different intake manifolds when I came across the BMF and when I looked at the info it said it requires a ZF powersteering pump. My shadow has a saginaw pump but it got me...
Honestly I don't really have any power goals in mind I was just planing on doing tune to add some more boost or in my case tune for the extra boost that I'm getting, add an intercooler, and other...
I just checked the codes and 45 was present. Can the ecu be tune so it doesn't do this? I was planning on getting an intercooler and a tune, would I have to get bigger injectors to run higher boost...
I recently installed an exhaust cutout on my 89 Shadow TI. When I went for a test drive I did a full throttle pull and it felt like the boost cut out when I was in 3rd so I immediately got out of...
The car has a 4 pin oxygen sensor in it, so what kind of sensor would be compatible with the stock computer?
My 89 Shadow 2.5l TI died out on me the other day and it popped a code 54. I checked the HEP wires and connectors and they look good, so I did some research and found that a shorted out oxygen...
Ok I feel kinda dumb, when I redid some of the vacuum lines I crisscrossed two of them. So the line that runs to the waste gate solenoid was going to manifold vacuum instead of the waste gate. ...
I don't follow cordes, what do you mean?
My 89 Shadow 2.5l T1 is only making around 4-5 psi of boost. I just redid most of the vacuum lines could I have mixed something up? I did have a the check valve for the BOV installed backwards...
OK cool, that's what I was thinking but I wasn't really sure. Thanks again.
So in other words put it so the BOV can get vacuum but not pressure? Thanks for the info.
Anybody? I think I'll put the pointy end to manifold vacuum and see how it works.
I have an 89 Shadow 2.5l T1 and I took this check valve going to the BOV completely off for some strange reason while I was looking for a coolant leak. Which way do I orient this?
...
Maybe someone else will chime in, or do you think I should start a new thread?
I don't think it's bad because the there is a little filter that it draws the air from when I suck on the non pointy one side. In order for the BOV to work it needs vacuum but not pressure correct? ...
I don't think this is a one way valve because I can suck but not blow on the pointy end (which has an "S" on it upon closer inspection) but then I can suck and blow on the other end. Does the "S"...
So in my haste to find my coolant leak I took this check valve going to the BOV completely off, for some strange reason. Which way do I orient this?

I went on TU's website and the braided line kit is $150. I don't have that much extra money right now because of the holiday season. I think I'll just repair the rubber part for now. Thanks guys...
What if instead of worm clamps I used the fuel injection style clamps? Or I know it would be more expensive but would going to a braided line be advisable?
