Re: Towing an '87 LeBaron (4 wheels)

Call me crazy, but why can't you just start the car & leave it in neutral? I've never tried it with a TD, but my father & I did it a few times with other vehicles way back when I was just a kid with...

Re: New wheels for the T3 rampage????

I think those would look good on your Rampage.

On another note, I think a set of salt flat style wheels would look awesome on one. Only problem is they don't make 'em in the right bolt pattern...

Re: Alternator Wiring - Upgrade to Power Wiring

One of my good friends back home runs a starter/alternator shop. Right now I've got a custom high amp unit with a self exciting regulator on the back.

Re: Alternator Wiring - Upgrade to Power Wiring

I need 1/0 gauge. But then, my stereo draws about 250 amps at full tilt. Ahh the beauty of running Class A amplifiers.

Make sure that you're upgrading the ground to the same size, most people...

    Re: parts washer solvent

I've used everything from Varsol to Kerosene to gas cut with transmission fluid. A buddy of mine got this stuff from the ZEP distributor that worked good in his hot water washer and parts scrubber....

    General Re: Daytona window scrapers

The ones I ordered were 4397670 and 4397671. One came from a warehouse in Dallas, the other from Chicago I believe. Apparently I got the last one in stock on one side.

    General Re: Daytona window scrapers

There was no difference in the length on mine. The only difference was the notch on one end.

    General Re: Daytona window scrapers

Everyone always says they're different, but when I ordered mine they were the exact same length as the ones I pulled off the car. The only difference was the notch on one end to clear a piece on the...

Re: iPod and our older Infinity radios

Don't use the headphone output on the iPod, use the line out on the sync/charge port, that way you don't run your audio through the iPod's built in amplifier before it goes to the head unit.

I've seen one like that five or six years ago. Guy had it and the DC intercooler kit for sale.
  24. Re: So is your truck overloaded if it is sitting on the bump stops?

Never heard of anyone in my area being hassled for antique plates.
