Shouldn't they be the D seals?
I'm trying! LOL
I need the money to put into the 604 I'm building up, gonna be a very
nasty trans. It's just not a cheap trans to build!
It's one of mine, been building these since about 2002.
This trans gave me three 10.0 pass's, five 9.8 pass's and a 9.7 all in
the same weekend. Super consistant and the trans temp never went...
Sorry, it's for a 2.0 or 2.4 bolt pattern
Steve
I have a fully built trans for sale, this trans only has 9 pass's since a total rebuild.
$3200 shipped
Includes.
Pat's 8" 4000rpm stall converter
Peloquin diff (better then a Quaife)...
I got 2 more pass's on it today, it seems to be working great! Crappy
times (awful track) but good trap speeds. 136 and 138mph..
1-2 was the worst, the 2nd gear pack takes forever to come on. 2-3 was pretty bad as well..
There are a bunch of restricters that slow everything down in this trans,
removing them seems to do...
I tryed this but had some flaring problems. To get in 1st just turn on
the L/R and 2/4 solinoid.. Remember 2/4 and UD are backwards, power to
these noids turns off the pressure. L/R and OD are...
The PCS controller is a great peice but I'd really like to find a less
expensive way to control it this trans. There's a Megasquirt modual they are working on..
I'd love to see how this works out for ya! You might be stuck with some pretty low rev limits with it though..
Hey, I've changed some of the details on the input shaft treatment.
Don't heat it as high and slow down the cooling alot more. And yes the
gear treatment is far differant then the one for the...
Don't get me going on this!
After thinking about this some more I'd bet the kickdown release o ring was left off or snagged when he put the piston in. I kinda doubt it's the VB, but a
pressure check would tell you for sure. ...
When you go from the large bearing carrier to the one with the small bearing you need to either get some shorter bolts or put some thick washers behind
them. The smaller carrier isn't as thick...

Gary tells me the diff weighs 14 pounds, should be a nice savings over
the OBX with that steel spacer.
The advantage's over OBX and Quaife are huge just in getting the things
to fit in the...
Were would I order one of these?
Steve
I scored 2 sets of bolt in 1.22's for $75 a set! I wouldn't sell these things
for $500 a set LOL
Steve
I'm going to look around here for one with the right gears. Shipping would kill me on this.... Thanks anyway
The only way I've been able to tell is to pop the cover and count the teeth.
I'm also looking for a set of 1.22 transfer gears....
Anyone have one to sell? These came in the later 2.4 Caravans and the DOHC Neons...
Hit me up after Fall Nat's in October...
Hmm, anybody want to buy a used OBX, spacer and case...LOL
Has anyone run this companys diff's with high power?
The OBX has been fine in mine, ran a few high 9's with it with no problems.
Steve
There's all kinds of pistons and rods out there. JE, and Weisco come to mind.
For rods there's Crowler, Eagle and GRP. I'm sure there's more if you look around. Foward Motion carries most of what...
You can make over 1000 hp on the stock srt crank, so why bother with
anything else..
