    Engine Common Block accessory pulley

    hey TM,

managed to ruin my old accessory pulley while using it as a bracket to pull off the cam belt drive sprocket (what an SOB that thing was).

So I need any ole 5-bolt Common Block...
  2. Re: How livable is a 4 puck ceramic clutch?

Yea, I'd prolly be fine with a T2/T3. I've got a brand new T3 pressure plate and throw-out bearing along with what the previous owner was sure is a T1 omni clutch. I thought that the T2 clutch disk...
  3. Re: How livable is a 4 puck ceramic clutch?

Oh, well..... Sh1t. If that's the case then all this scrounging may have been for nothing.
  4. Re: How livable is a 4 puck ceramic clutch?

If I had a proper T2/T3 setup I wouldn't be worrying about a clutch at all! The better 1700 lbs of clamping force from the T3 pressure plate tends to make a T2 clutch perform very well.

    Problem...
  5. Re: How livable is a 4 puck ceramic clutch?

It is to be a daily driver. I might take it down to the 1/8th mile every now and then but I can never see myself dropping cash on a good set of slicks. However, I plan to run two separate sets of...
  6. Re: How livable is a 4 puck ceramic clutch?

Definitely want a sprung hub, a solid hub would be way too chattery on the street. I really like ACT clutches but couldn't find any that fit my car. Perhaps they made clutches for the later...
  7. Re: How livable is a 4 puck ceramic clutch?

Heh, well I could see where the harder ceramic friction material could be tough on the flywheel and pressure plate. I suppose a lot of that comes down to how talented you are with a manual tranny. ...
  8. How livable is a 4 puck ceramic clutch?

I'm going with a nicely rebuilt 2.2 common block for the new motor in my '87 LeBaron. The current motor is grenaded, but it is attached to a decent A520. Right before I got the car it got a T3...

    Re: 82 Rampage 84hp journey to 300+Whp

If you haven't gotten any yet, I have a recommendation on a sealant for your floor. The suggestion of Liquid Nails is a great one, but they have tons of products. I've tried a few LN products and...
  10. Re: '87 LeBaron intercooled 2.5 CB conversion

Well, off went the '86 today!

I realized too late that I didn't get a picture of it up on the trailer leaving home for good. Oh well. If Brad is half as cool as he seems to be I'm sure it wasn't...

Re: Engine mounts, which is strongest?

If anyone is still paying attention to this thread, I saw the suggestion to "fill" a standard rubber mount with polyurethane. I was wondering what sort of urethane people tend to use and also what...
  12. Re: '87 LeBaron intercooled 2.5 CB conversion

Wey-hey! Its Brad! I hope you keep us updated on what becomes of my beloved TedMobile. I hadn't dared to hope that whoever bought it would actually put it back on the road. See ya this week...
  13. '87 LeBaron intercooled 2.5 CB conversion

    Greetings Turbo-Mopar!

I'm DM, I hail from that other site, TurboDodge, and have decided to mosey on over here for access to a different user base and the ability to get a 'second opinion' when I...
