I'm guessing this is long gone by now?
I think I'm with you Chris, originality is what I want and I like the sharp mechanical gear selection in the 555.
I mean, my other car is an SRT-4 with a pickup truck-like gear throw and wouldn't...
Update: getting rental car, driving back to CO and getting a truck and dolly then headed up Mon to bring back.
Picking up another a555 or a520 then swap with clutch upgrade kit.
Also, how much power can an OEM clutch hold since I imagine that will be replaced as well.
Well, how much is a new a555 going to cost from the dealer you all think? Looks like that's the way it's going, front intermediate shaft bearing and end are likely gone.
On top of this $250 tow...
So we believe FISB and end have let go, repairable? What else could it have damaged?
Update: it drove into the shop, then locked up again coming out. Said there's gotta be something loose in there.
I checked cable, linkage and fluid, all good fluid smells burned. Sinclair won't...
Might need this and can pay delivered to Gardiner, MT. I'm stranded here in my 89 a555 caravan. Locked into 1st gear.
Emergency help please:
Stuck in Yellowstone. 89 2.5t a555 caravan 198k miles.
Car is locked in 1st gear. Noticed some clutch smell pulling out of snow but didn't think much of it until a mile...

These work for our vehicles as well as the GM 3bar?
Vigo, do you have underside pics of your 3" setup and a link to what part you used to keep the noise down? I'm already into this 2.5" $250, so not sure at this point if I want to revamp to 3" out...

Yes. 4psi constant, when the WGA is hooked directly to the intake mani. I just replaced the steel ball with a .25g airsoft BB and squished the spring down more. Now I will still go over the 15psi...
Perhaps the steel ball is too heavy for the line and not getting out of the way, therefor no force is being put on the can and it is allowing the arm to stay open/closed whichever way it is?
I want a high-flow muffler that DOES* muffle the noise. I have bad tinnitus from all my years driving the SRT-4 with 3" TBE, gotten scans, MRI, etc and they say it's long term high dB damage and...
Updates: Still looking for an ideal high flow muffler to add to save my tinnitus from further damage on the long drives. Plugs were replaced with factory and fuel pump replaced, cutout at 4k doesn't...
Thanks bud! The less problems it seems like the better. The exhaust is 2.5" turbo back, the bulge is a high flow MagnaFlow cat then to a Y pipe. Would sound deadening work too, but be too much...

Update: Fuel Light Low comes on, even after filling up, sendin unit a gonner I guess? I hope to replace the sending/pump unit monday. Also, on hills and part throttle the van bucks/missfies it...
Thanks bud, the starter seems just fine though. My guess is it was from the rear/main seal when it was leaking?
Verified with GPS, my speedometer was lying at about 70, doing 75-76 and RPM were about 2800, or just above. Can't wait to see the real MPG report.
UV DYE LEAK UPDATE:
While the van was on the...
I 2nd that Vigo! I miss my 3.5HO, it was a hoot to drive, especially with cone filter on the TB it had some great sound to it! lol

UPDATES: 215/70r15 rubber installed, much better ride height, comfort, and highway rpm (2800rpm @ 75mph) -- this also means I am now essentially slower correct?...
