    Suspension Re: 91+ knuckles

The location of the tie rod hole is different. Simon/TurboVanMan I think posted a picture some time ago showing the difference.
  2. General Re: 86 GLH-S Starter + heat shield (+ maybe engine wiring harness)

If melting stuff is becoming a problem you could always go to the Denso style starter.

    Denso starter

The connections are on the side, nearly at the bottom vs the Bosch unit where they are...
  3. Re: Drive shaft rebuild parts list (bearings, boots, cages, etc.)

I cannot speak for anyone else but if I was getting serious enough to spend $2k+ on a set of axles they need to be rebuildable.
  4. Re: Drive shaft rebuild parts list (bearings, boots, cages, etc.)

Something like this is what I would have in mind to get away from the junk store replacement axles.

    It...
  5. Re: Drive shaft rebuild parts list (bearings, boots, cages, etc.)

The proliferation of cheap, offshore cv axles has effectively killed the aftermarket for service parts. Look as DSS axles, they were just another middle man buying the semi finished components from...

    Re: Difficult Ignition Cutout Problem

Those bullet splices are OEM. I have seen them used on front end lighting where the turn signal and side marker circuits come together and covered with friction tape. Total junk way of doing things...

Re: 92 Acclaim 3.0L ECU pinout?

The Acclaim/Spirit with the 3.0 could have come with either the 3 speed or 4 speed automatic in the later years. Something that the aftermarket service manuals may not clarify when they condense...

    Re: 1989 Voyager 2.5T Automatic - "Vanna"

    Good find.

Minivans live a hard life and when those were new no one thought anything different of them. Just don't see anymore of them on the road anymore locally. Even the 2nd gen units are...

The 3M panel bond is getting used on areas that are being worked. For overall recoating I have not decided what to use yet, most likely going back with conventional undercoating.
