I have gathered around 12 or 14 3lv6 cals (the ones from this site included).
As soon i have cleaned them up, adding cal files where necessairy etc. and renaming everything in a usefull name-scheme...
If the 357 is a '93 then i could help you out with 368. Its a LeBaron 3lv6 with A604 cal I pulled off recently.
3LV6 cals? and if yes which partnumber(s) they have?
In search of illustrating a workflow i stumbled upon a nice nifty tool on dr. dobbs site.
Let me show you :)

If your ECU has really a m68hc11a8 (with 52 Pins and NOT -a1 or -a0) cpu inside then you have a total of 8 analog-inputs. 4 are already used - meaning 4 left to play with.
According to the...

I accidently did and ended up with a transmit-only device :(

You mean the L-Shaped connector in the engine bay next to the battery?

Look here :...
You could easily check with a hairdryer and a thermometer for linearity of the tempsensor, no? In case of non-linearity we could easily figure out some approximation formula (adding some ofset or...
Be careful there are 2 sorts of FTDI USB <--> SERIAL adapters/cables available. See lower left corner in photo. The adapter with the blue led has a serial rs-232 connector and the other adapter next...
Maybe the cal queries the Vendor/Device id or type (of eprom) in some init routines after reset? Try burning the cal on another 27c256 and check again ...
Just a sidenote (where the ecm could need to be adjusted while on E85) :
We also have to think/do someting about cold-start for the ethanol users.
Either play around with that "64 rpm rule" at...
I will try write a bootloader which queries the cpu and send id back to sci. Every cpu has a configbyte/word in its eeprom. Then we will know for sure which cpu is in any ecm/tcm. Well the same is...
I remember a service-guy having plugged in a drb2 (or3?) into the blue connector and he read the percentual wear of each "gear". I assume the communication drb <-> tcm was via ccd.
Wowzer, are you sure they (4 ports) are available? Have you already made experiments?
I am asking because in the past i had some wierd results while trying to access the so called "future...
Brian what exactly do you mean...?
(english is not my native tongue) :)
My '91+'93LBs have a blue connector under the dashboard (near drivers left knee :) and it has for sure +-ccd
I am not sure if this connector has also rx/tx (SCI).
OTOH there has to be a sci...
Here for compare another patent published 1990 ... maybe we should try to collect all a604 related patents in a common place to ease the detective work ?
http://www.google.com/patents/US4938102
Hmmm very interesting the patent doc and as a side effect the "figures" with the shifting patterns/behaviour give a nice explanation why the tps-mod works :):eyebrows:
Look here and scroll down...
Thats cool. Now i understand better. Thanks for sheding a light on this.
@wowser could you quick explain how the graph does look like?
Is the graph a function or a relation?
Lets take a random table (from 89tcm-678), eg.

In case you are keeping the a604 (inside the daytona)... does the a604 transmission bell housing match with the 3.8 engine?
Until '95 the sbec2 have for sure a 68hc11 cpu. From what i know the sbec3(a..b..c) and later ecm have a 68hc16 which executes faster. My guess is the sbec2 and before ecus were not really intended...
Warlock, what is the max rpm-range the 3.8 is running or you intend to drive ?
I have 2 3lv6 lebaron ('91+'93') and both go berzerk after aprox. 5700 rpm. The stock main routine is executed every...
@warlock: what make/model (car) are you talking about? Afaik the sbec3 are post 95' types...
Just curious :)
