Thanks a lot guys.
I'll give it one more shot. I've already been calling scrap yards looking for the best deal. If it doesn't sell in the next couple days, it's getting junked.
The city sent me a letter last week,...
New price.....$300.....and more pics.

It's not exactly what you're looking for, but I do have one for sale:

Come take it for $350. The shortblock for the Z28 is almost ready, and I need money to get that thing running.
Thanks Dave.
I'm also still considering fixing it and keeping it, so if somebody local wants to make some cash, let me know.

I forgot to mention that this is a 2.5L car. I took some pics tonight, so I'll post them tomorrow after resizing them.
I hate to do this, but I have too many cars at my house and this one is just sitting, and I really don't have the interest in fixing it. I'm located in the suburbs of Chicago.

I looked it over the other day, and found out that the head gasket is not my problem. The smoke is not coolant, but it's oil. My turbo is pretty much fried. I guess oil is leaking into the turbo...
Hey Dave :)
I'm getting a MP gasket and bolts from BadAssPerformance since I can't find them in stock anywhere and can't wait for it to be ordered.
I'm hoping the head is ok, since it never...
That's good news :D
Thanks a lot guys. I was worried this was going to be a pain in the ---, but it sounds easy as pie. I'm definitely no stranger to working on cars, but I've never worked on...
Wow, that's a great write-up. Thanks a lot bud :) :thumb:
Thanks for the help guys. You guessed it, this is my first time. BTW, I forgot to mention, the car is a 90 Daytona ES T1.
I popped the head gasket on my car yesterday on the way to work. Can I pull the head with the manifolds still on, or do I have to completely disassemble everything?
What's the fastest and easiest...
Ok, I'll look there. Thanks guys.
Sorry, I should have elaborated. It's a 90 Daytona ES T1
I've looked around the heater core area already and nothing jumped out at me. Where exactly is the boost guage line?
Thanks for the help. :)
Anybody know where the vacuum line for the heater controls goes through the fire wall? My heater controls are stuck on defrost by default, and I have no vacuum going to them. I checked the brake...
Those are very popular in the Grand National/Turbo Regal community. I got mine used from a friend who had it in his GN. He took it out when he got an electronic controller.
This is the manual boost controller I have. It has a Grainger and a bleed. You can adjust boost with either one, and it works nicely for me. I don't have boost creep or spikes. I set it at 10#,...
Ok, will do :)
Cool, thanks for the advice.
Excellent, thanks Russ :)
