No, crank sensor is still sitting in my glove box. Don't have the time or any real motivation to tear into it. It's colder out now so it takes longer to go into closed loop and set off the CEL. Most...
Get a DSP or SCT, it's cheaper and infinitely adjustable.
Chris, try ababaqa.com. They are here in San Diego.
They are also cable, not hydro. I'd look into a little better clutch though, the stock ones start getting pissed at the power levels you're looking at.
Edit: forgot about the weight difference...
FYI, the PT Cruiser Getrag is physically smaller than the T-850
Ugh, it came on again tonight. Just when I thought it was gone. I give up with this car, if it's not one thing it's another. Time to de-mod it and look for a nice fox body mustang me thinks...
Yes, crank sensor has been changed.
So I've come to the conclusion that the code is directly related to my air conditioning. If I leave my A/C off, no codes, ever. If I run the A/C I get the code almost immediately. I've been driving...
Try ptcrew.com
Srt4's and turbo PT's have 2.5 bar map sensors stock. You could probobly get one for next to nothing on srtforums
The cam sensor in it has less than 2000 miles on it. It's from Autozone though so it wouldn't surprise me if it were dead already.
I pulled the cam sensor today to check if that screw was tight and as soon as I pulled the sensor off oil started dripping out of the end of the cam, sweet. The sensor was coated in oil so I'm...
Cool, thanks! Definitely interested in what he's done to make it work. I'll be throwing about as much power at the craptastic 41te as it can take real soon so I'd like to have a back up plan. It's...
Simon, did you ever get this figured out? I've been kicking around the idea of a built 3spd in my 03 PTGT. Any idea what he's doing for tranny control if anything at all? I'm sure there's got to be...
I just took off the cam sensor to take a looks and there was a bit of oil on there. I'm gonna check the target screw( I think that's what it's called) tomorrow but I'm burnt out tonight. Been working...
Aaaaaaaand it's back......with a vengeance lol. I just got the car buttoned up from the recent work I've done. SCT tune was loaded up and I was about to do my tranny learn, grrrrr
No havn't checked on that. It's got an SCT tune on it as of Friday night so I don't know if that would change anything. I've got a couple other things to adress before I start puting miles on it...
pm Omniluvr, he's got a couple in his garage.
Update on this....
Ended up being oil in the spark plug tubes from boost blowing through a bad pcv valve. I found this when I changed plugs a few weeks ago and the spark plug boots were soaked...
N/M, I was thinking of the 4.0L
That 3.0 Vulcan is a good motor longetivity speaking. I've had two rangers with that motor with the latter clocking 160k before I got rid of it and never so much as a whimper out of it. You will...
Got mine today, can't wait til tommorrow to put the tune in along with a couple other mods. Then, hopefully, I can get to the dyno this weekend or next.
Josh has been great to work with and if...
I got one a while back, thanks though guys.
I don't have anything to measure with except a soda can LOL. Two stacked on top of eachother is the same height as a soda can + about 1/8th". So half the size of a soda can plus a sixteenth should...
