I have a microsquirt and some speeduinos kicking around (detonationems) and I plan on trying one of them on my reliant at some point.
Brian
not real boost.... like less than 3psi.
brian
i havent adjusted them much either. they arent barfing fuel rich but I wouldnt mind taking a little out during really cold warmup.
if i start it up and head out, then i cant roll into boost...
I have that same crank trigger wheel. Wayne was selling adapters to run it on a common block. see if he still has some remaining units. he was selling sensor brackets too and they work. be careful if...
shucks, i didnt see this till now or i would have texted or emailed you to try to correct it.
ill put it in my list of reminders. can you send me the cal that is working?
Thanks
Brian
some use toyota yaris coils, some use honda K series coils, etc. they just have to be logic level triggered coils. and yeah you would need to make a bracket to hold them.
i did read of some...
you should be able to use 2 spark output channels and do wasted spark COP with some resistor changes on the logic outputs to the coil triggers.
Brian
shucks, i wish I knew what state you were at for what you knew about what the microsquirt can do.
yeah it can only do (oops edit) HIGH impedance injectors and it needs a coil driver module or...
or a cheap 12v LED light bulb.
youll have to make sure the polarity is correct.
Brian
12v rated LED. (LED with a resistor to make it able to handle 12v)
Brian
do you have spark? (even at the wrong time) or fuel injector pulse?
Brian
no worries. if you need some help, you need some help.
the SRT sensor is incompatible with our electronics. its a wide range sensor, like a microphone with no frequency filter. the stock sensor...

fine. its a reference number used only to set the distributor position so that the calculated timing values are what the engine experiences. it has nothing to do with the advance the ECU calculates...
no. that is an arbitrary number that is only used to set the distributor timing.
Brian
i wouldnt rely on regular jack stands. I would probably build a wood structure to sit the front "frame rails", k frame and/or and pinch welds on. and then a couple of straps on either side to heavy...
i loved my neons too. my wife drove a 98 dohc atx over 200k, and then a friend that we sold it to, drove it for 50k more. i had a 97 sohc atx and i drove mine over 200k and then sold it to a kid who...
nice, Todd!
Yeah Jon, the factory distributor spinning backwards is an inefficient pump.....
Brian
yeah the flywheel notch would work but it only reads to like 12 or so... in vac, you can have way more timing than that to verify.
dyno before the computer, hydraulic pump against an orifice,...
for those in the 3d printing realm, prusaslicer can convert the step file to .stl for printing.
Brian
i dont know. MPSciLink shows a slightly different value than what I expect it to be, the OTC shows another value, the calculated advance 3d map shows a different value.
the only way to really...
you can do that, especially for a quick test. for the long term, I would run the pressure that the injectors are rated to flow at.
Now for a flowy build with ported manifolds, headers, good...
id add fuel in pumping efficiency from 2500-4500 range looking at some of your afr values, when you rescale to remove some fuel.
Brian
when you rescale what you have for a larger (numerically) injector size, it scales the Part/Full/Baseline fuel tables.
Save a copy of what you are running now and then when you rescale, start with...
