  1. Re: Looking for a good T-M mechanic in Western Pa.

Well folks, time to see if anyone has any new thoughts. I found a guy who helped me out last year, but due to personal, family reasons, he will not be available this year. Can anyone recommend...

Wanted Re: 88 Dodge Daytona Rolling Chassis

Not sure if you are on Facebook, but there is an engine-less 1990 Daytona on FWD Mopars for $1500. It's white, and it appears to be the CS (Shelby) model. Here's what the ad says: Motor has been...

Re: The Lebaron Turbo GTC, GTS and GT thread

I have another question. Can anyone tell me the OEM color/code for the center section of the 16" wheels on the '89 GTC. I have a few spots I would like to touch up. I thought it was argent, but...
  5. Interior Re: Looking for a passenger front outer seat recliner for 89 Daytona

Thanks. I am keep my eyes peeled for a high-quality brown leather enthusiast seat. Mine are OK but could be better, particularly the driver's seat.

General Re: Shifter, books, rad, tb, etc..

I'm going to throw my hat in the ring for the radiator as well - ship to 15237. Pretty sure it would fit my '89 TII LeBaron. I could also be interested in the speed book, especially if you could...

    Re: Windshield Wipers (assembly)

I had a problem this year with mine and did some research. I had only one bad bushing in mine, and I managed to replace it in place. What a bear! I'm guessing it will not be the last one I need to...

    Re: Turbo II Curiosity Question

I'll need to check the routing, as suggested. I assume you are talking about the wastegate solenoid? Would "minimum boost pressure" be 7 PSI?

    Turbo II Curiosity Question

I have now had my '89 GTC Turbo II convertible for more than a year. Seems to run well, but something I have come to realize is that it does not seem to be able to get to the maximum boost of 12...

I blew up the original, and I see what you are saying. I think it is 111419 201. What is the 201?

Re: The Lebaron Turbo GTC, GTS and GT thread

You could be right Cordes, but I don't see anything typed there. I'll look at it with a magnifier to see if something faint is there. My strut tower has a date in Sharpie (see below), which I also...

Re: The Lebaron Turbo GTC, GTS and GT thread

Another GTC curiosity question. Anybody ever see a sticker like mine with a hand-written date on it? Does it mean anything? Just wondering if this type of "special" treatment makes it unique...

    Re: Engine Damper Question

Thanks Cordes. That was my thought as well. I'm thinking if the mounts are bad and the shock is good, it might help a little. But with all of the mounts new, I have a hard time believing I would...

    Engine Damper Question

I have a question on the importance of the engine damper "strut" on the manual-shift Turbo II in my LeBaron GTC (see photos). As you can probably tell, this is the one on the passenger side near...

Re: The Lebaron Turbo GTC, GTS and GT thread

I thought so. I asked the guy that very thing, and he said it was on the car when he bought it at 4x,xxx miles. So, the PO must have exchanged it. Thanks for the info!

Re: The Lebaron Turbo GTC, GTS and GT thread

A new question ... I was at Carlisle this weekend, and in the survivor's tent was a black 1989 GTC Turbo II. It should be just like mine except coupe vs. 'vert. If so, why does the valve cover on...

    Re: 5th gear holder tool

Noob question ... what does the tool do? I guess if I have to ask, I don't need it? I do have a '89 5-speed, so?
  19. Re: Looking for a good T-M mechanic in Western Pa.

Just checked and ohiorob is retired and not able to help. Would love to hear any other thoughts. Thanks!
  20. Re: Looking for a good T-M mechanic in Western Pa.

Thanks. I have dealt with Chris Ellis trying to buy a strut-tower brace from him, which he couldn't find. I could start there, but he is more than an hour away from me. That's not too different...

  22. Re: Looking for a good T-M mechanic in Western Pa.

I'll check, but I'm pretty sure I tried that already with no response. Thanks!
  23. Re: Looking for a good T-M mechanic in Western Pa.

Thanks Rob. From what I can tell, Brian's number is in the Philly area, which is about six hours from Pittsburgh. The other suggestion of ohiorob would be much closer. Anyone else?
  24. Re: Looking for a good T-M mechanic in Western Pa.

Thanks for the tip Keito. As long as I could drive it there, that could work. Definitely wouldn't want to tow it that far!
  25. Re: Looking for a good T-M mechanic in Western Pa.

Hey Cordes! How-to videos could be good. I'm definitely planning to do some stuff, but I am not much of a mechanic. For instance, I'm thinking it may need some motor mounts, which I don't intend...
