    Re: Show Off Your Mini!!

As an FYI, I did a test with the later style knuckles, and the K frame I picked up from the yard. The ball joint slides into the knuckle with no issues and the pinch bolt from the K frame goes right...

That's pretty crazy. Good luck. I would be very frustrated with that situation.

    Re: Show Off Your Mini!!

What ball joints should I order for my minivan. I have a K frame out of a 94 or 95 (I forget which year) 2nd gen van complete with control arms. I have some knuckles which are the later style with...

    Re: GLH Suspension??

I wouldn't think 7K to be too much in an L body. I think I have 8K in my CSX. The spacers do just take up space between the knuckle and the strut for the width where they bolt together.

    Re: Comp pkg Shadow VNT

If it isn't too much trouble, I would love to know what the car looks like and if it runs. Thanks a ton for posting this up either way. That's a super rare car and I have always wanted one.

    Re: Comp pkg Shadow VNT

If you had some pictures and and idea of if it ran or not, I would highly consider coming out to get the car if the price is reasonable. Was it rusty when you last saw it? I'm really only interested...

    Re: Computer controlled boost turbonator

Couldn't one just use a relay to trigger the different solenoid if the stock computer can't handle the boost? I would think some of the fancy solid state jobs out there these days would have no...

    Re: Computer controlled boost turbonator

I've talked to a few people who have had computer controlled boost working very well in the past. I believe some have used a larger solenoid at higher boost.

    Re: Turbo Mom Van

I always figure things like that into the price of a vehicle when I go to pick one up from far away.

Next on the list is installing big brakes and a later dual pivot K frame. I'm a newcomer to the...

If I'm not mistaken, it's widely used in Canada and they don't have any problems with it.

Thanks Chris. We have been enjoying it thoroughly. Joy was pretty ticked when I first brought it home because she hated the idea of it being a 5 speed. She now loves it.

    Re: Csx vnt #497

I have had the 90 VNT airbox setup in the car for a while now. The stock airbox definitely helps to control the boost a little more. The BOV makes me feel like I'll get a million more miles out of...

    Re: Turbo Mom Van

I put new tires on some pumpers and installed them yesterday. They really help the look of the van. I'll be getting lug nuts which will allow the CS caps to go on there soon. AC is on the way, and...

Excellent. Thanks for that info. I really appreciate it. If you don't mind my asking, why 50/50 when you're in AZ? I've read that water cools better. Are you just doing it for the additives?

Is that with the fan running while above 45mph or is it cycling on and off? Are you using water in the system, or coolant. Thanks for the info.
