Not sure what the cause of the splitting is, but change brands and see if it helps. The new set of plugs you put in look pretty dirty for such a short run time. How rich is the a/f going down the...

Eric sent me these pics to share. I have a few more I can load later on...
Not sure if you have seen the inner cv on the set that Eric Depenbrok had made. That thing is a beast. The guy told him" I want to shake your hand if you break these". I'll see if I can get him to...
Nice! Now get on that license!
Nice runs JT!! The mph is getting up there :thumb:
A heavier car may need a bit more pressure on the 24.5's but with the 26's he can drop it. 7.5-8psi is where my car is usually happiest.
Great runs JT. Get that 60' down and she'll be cooking! See you @ sdac!
Yes, I had run the M&H 26x10 early on, and swapped to a MT- instant better 60' and more consistant.
Way to go JT!! I had a feeling new rubber would help a bunch. No hard decision on the tire brand, stick with the MT's.
+1 Nice Job JT!!
How old are the slicks? Maybe a fresh set will get you to the 60' better.
JT, great job getting the car together and running in time for SDAC!:thumb: The G-bodies left a great impression on me this year, I need to get my Daytona sorted out and running quicker. It will be...
No fixture, just measured where I wanted the dowel to be and center punched it. Just took my time and made sure I was nice and straight. The damper was on the BSX until I broke the snout off of the...
Here ya go...

I keyed mine right after I first got it running. It rotated 20* on the dyno and of course threw the timing off. I'll see if I can get a pic of it. I drilled it undersize then used a 1/4" reamer and...
Looking good JT. If you haven't already keyed the damper to the crank, it would be good to do it now. You don't need another headache down the road.
Sorry DJ I wish we could all have the #1 spot:D. But let me know if you need a fiberglass front end for the car;)Of course that would kill the DD part for sure.
Sorry to hear about the motor JT. Hopefully it won't require a lot to get it back up and running.
Great job JT!! Car is smoking:thumb::D
Great job JT!! Sorry to hear about the carnage though. Besides the slicks, did you make any changes to the car? A bit more timing perhaps? Keep up the good work:thumb:
Nice job JT. Can't wait to see what she'll do with some traction and more boost:thumb:
Have you tried to mount the 26" under the car? There are even some 25" available as well, might work out...
