Sheet metal would be ok, when you get into it there's not much room to work with on the top of the door flange. About 3/8 ths to 1/2inch. I used screws to fine adjust the fit of the belt...
I'll see if I can get the pics over here later tonight.....

Hey, just happened across this thread, I'm usually a lot more on TD than here, don't even know if I can post pics here. lol Rosie, let me know what your questions are, and I'll try to help you out. ...
Another thing that might be totally unrelated, but check your fuel pressure, pump wire attachment, fuel filter etc...
I sure would look at the fuel rail and all the injectors. A temporary lean condition would do that. It might be coincidental that it's on the same cylinder too. Just a thought. Injector wiring...
Pics Pics Pics!!!
Man, I don't know. lol I went to the JY for a seat frame for my Lancer, got one out of a 86 Fury. It bolted right in. The one thing I noticed is that after 87, the seat mounting is different. Up...
try www.hardwareinc.net. If you have a AN or MS part # it will help. I'll try to find that fitting in one of my catalogues and get a part #. I've got a drawer full of those in Oklahoma, but I'm...
86 Lebaron FTW!!! Shelbys are nice too, lol. Welcome!
No, I started with 1000 grit, then 2000, then I got some 3M finesse II polishing compound and a high speed buffer. I couldn't get rid of the 2k scratches though. If I would have clear coated them,...
Thanks for posting the info. I tried to do the lenses on my wife's intrepid and screwed em up LOL. Wound up buying new assemblies for $260 each. OUCH!!
A easy way to check your temp gauge is to pull the wire off the send unit on the block, it's the single wire on the right front of the engine, not the two wire plug on the t-stat housing. Anyway,...
You know Cindy has one at FWD right? I think it's $275.
Are the belt moldings in good shape on the back two doors? At this point I'll pay you for the doors, and all I want is the moldings. LOL
I'm leaving town tomorrow afternoon, be back Sat. night.
That's cool, I wonder if the judges were with U.P. ?
If you sanded too fine before your first coat of primer, it might reduce your adhesion some. The reason is that the 80 grit scratches are microscopically deeper, so the initial primer coat simply...
No wonder he's pissed. Especially with that company in Dallas falsifying VIN numbers. That brings all the Shelby stangs into question as far as authenticity.
It's a tribute to the design of these cars, the Lancer in this case, no airbags, but no fatality. I just registered Lancer 604. LOL Mines in a little better shape though j/k!
I'm glad to hear a different side of this story. It's hard to make a judgment call when you only get one side. Of course my primary loyaties lie with SDAC, but I'm going to keep up with "Team...
Oh man, I gotta work thursday morning, then it's about a seven hour drive to La Habra. Then back at work friday morning. LOL I'll have to bring Lancer 604 out in January maybe.
Hey Chris, I...
Yeah!!! What ^ he said. It actually looks pretty hammered. I think that Kentucky car had a lot more rust on the hood. lol
Cool, thanks!
Mike
That sucks! Did you find another source for them? I'm trying to get a belt molding for the right rear door of my Lancer.
