Re: 1989 Dodge Spirit 2.5L Turbo Upgrades :-)

You don't need to use smaller injectors. I've seen guys idling with huge injectors on an LM and one would never know. Many don't use the charge temp sensor. You do need a cal that's right for what...

Re: 1989 Dodge Spirit 2.5L Turbo Upgrades :-)

First thing to do is run a jumper wire from the + battery terminal to the + side of the coil. If that doesn't energize the fuel pump, check for power at the pump. If you have power, the pump is bad....

Re: 1989 Dodge Spirit 2.5L Turbo Upgrades :-)

I'll be honest and say that I'm very surprised that a TII turbo swapped in place of the mitsu is causing you to run that lean. I would check for a proper functioning fuel pump, and free flowing fuel...

SST27SF512 is your friend. Make sure to buy from a reputable vendor. There are a lot of fakes out there.

Others are much more advance than I, but I just burn the chip and swap it out. I am getting ready to install my first MPSciLink deal. It should bring me into this millennium.

Re: 1989 Dodge Spirit 2.5L Turbo Upgrades :-)

ETA: I have cut the stock O2 wire near the 60 way connector and crimped onto it, and I have also used an old 60 way connector while tucking the original wire back into the harness. Both seem to work...

No, sorry, I am using the one you have to put together. Although, with the new design you hardly have to do anything at all.

I don't use this brand anymore, but it's the same thing really. I'm using the 14point7 Spartan units now.

You can't use a WBO2 sensor in place of the stock one unless you use your WBO2 sensor's NB output (if it has one) to feed the computer a signal. That's generally what I do. I only use one O2 sensor...

    Welcome to the site Chris.

If you have all of the basic maintenance done, the formula has remained relatively unchanged. If you just want a quick daily driver, adding some boost will get you...
