To 90% of the builds out there, prob nothing. lol As most prob wouldn't notice any difference because their set-up just isn't ever going to be dialed in enough and built to any given tolerance enough...
FYI That piece is adding length to the runners, not volume to the plenum ;)
So more Total volume to manifold due to longer runners. There Is a difference ;)

Also keep in mind that how large the top of that runner will become is in direct relation to the size of the port at the head ;)
I think the point is that a larger TB than what the neck/manifold can use would be a negative.
Like I said, we never even tried a 58mm on the 2 piece. Just didn't look like enough material for it...
