You mean me and my car? (Lucy 2.0) My dyno (189hp 201tq) was a stock motor 24v SOHC 6G72 swap with only intake/exhaust work and an MS-II on a crap tune. (that reminds me, now that she is up and...

Going for a new chassis then?
  3. Re: Sundance 6g72 "3.0 turbo build thread"(N/A DYNO SHEET pics inside)

    di-electric grease i bet

The A530 is not directly related to the 543. The 523/543/568 are essentially the same trans with slight differences like bell housing and in the 568 the slightly stronger gears. FWIW, I'm pretty...

The trans isnt that hard to rebuild at all. I rebuilt mine with just the FSM. No worries many passes later with an OBX and slicks (albeit at the cost of 3 axles....no "new" axles for me ever again!)....

110* is tame compared to some setups. (you ARE reading your temps in *F right?). I hope I can keep intake temps below 120* on my setup, otherwise my motor may go *boom*...

    Some of the high boost...

if your VE values start getting too high (200's) you probably want to up your Req fuel # and re-tune your VE #'s back down. the Req fuel# is the biggest multiplier in the MS fuelling equation.

Did you have problems with the #6 plug before?

Also, your "missing" on the highway, was it a surge or a downright studder/complete cylinder miss?

You may want to consider hooking up your...

be careful with auto-tune, its not perfect. I really only use it for cruise tuning on long hauls. the rest of the time I use the analyze tool and manual tuning.

Don't forget, you can get lean...

DIY has a TX labeled wiring bundle for ale so you don't have all 1 color spaghetti when your done wiring. Been there done that, not fun chasing wiring issues with all one color wiring

I had run mine through a grommet hole behind the clutch/brake, but that gave me cold toes in the winter. In my new chassis, i'll be using a 22-pin bulkhead connector from DIY :)

unfortunately your VE table values are not linear to your load %. it all depends on your base fuel # and other variables in the MS fueling equation. DO NOT ASSUME 100 in a VE cell means 100 load. the...

longer for torque, shorter for higher rpm power. The longer runners create a ram effect with the air charge at lower RPMs. Shorter runners allow the air to move more rapidly into the combustion...
  14. Re: Sundance 6g72 "3.0 turbo build thread"(N/A DYNO SHEET pics inside)

There are a lot of things that go into plenum/runner length design. Usually runners are tuned to a specific length for certain applications: longer for low end power, and shorter for high rpm power....

So what did you find with the MS? did the power supply section get spiked?

and yes, MS vs stock makes a WORLD of difference :) not too bad for the couple hundred $$$ for an MS.

The EDIS phantom rev limit is unconfirmed. I have personally revved 3 different EDIS-6 modules to 7500 rpm many times each and never had any spark issues.
