Damn! Hope he's recovering well.

That's what I expected, and kinda feared, no factory/junkyard upgrade.
Mike
Just to clarify, the case that broke, was it a 413 modified to accept the 2.4, or were mounts fab'd to allow the 31 to be installed where a 413 would normally reside?
My point of curiosity is...
Might be able to swedge the intake side up to 3"and butt weld it. This will help diffuse the air as it enters the plenum.
The that's something an exahust shop can do for you cheap.
Mike
Do your best to make the transition from the pipe to the"plenum" as smooth as possible. With such a minimal plenum, the middle cylinders may get most of the airflow. Allowing the air to diffuse...
Sorry I meant the $$ to mean "payoff", not expense.
Mike
So, section+lift/fill+smooth out=$$ ?
Mike
Well... at least they are responsive! (assuming it was fixed).

I hate it when you do something "correctly" and it turns out the instructions were wrong!
Good to hear it lives!!

I gotta say I like it! Nothing to complain about here... well, not without being nit picky.:p
Seriously though, I really like the way the universal hose lays right in there like it was...
Noticed not all the fins on your heat exchangers aren't uniformly straight... Just say'n.

I'm honored that you value my sleep so highly... a good night's sleep is definitely in my future!;)

PS Everything is looking quite nice, I especially like the metal work for the filter...
I really like the Ford filter set-up, looks like it was made to fit there, same for the L/A intercooler, though you'll have to fab up a nicer bracket before I can give you a gold star on that one......
