    Re: Turbonator T3

I updated the SBEC1 TIII .asm file to override the EMR routines. I had already done this for the SBECII, but not the SBECI, I guess. If you go to the link on post#1, the new .asm is in the .zip...

Just use the Turbonator cal and disable the EMR then.

    Re: Turbonator T3

The EMR is only an issue on the flashable computers. Stock socketed computers should have no issue.

    Re: Turbonator T3

I'll have to check the switch register. I had some wrong definitions in it at one point. I think I fixed them, but I'll double check.

    Re: Turbonator T3

The 'Suppress EMR' issue only occurs with the flash module. If you're running a regular chip, its not necessary. Of course, it's not a feature most people with a custom cal will care about, so feel...

    Re: Turbonator T3

I would start with the 3-bar cal and re-scale for 72's. Injector scaling is straight forward, but MAP scaling for the 3D tables isn't.

There are no issues with the code, outside of the difficulty...

    Re: Turbonator T3

Its not used. They bundled the AFR and PumpEff together in the 3D table.

    Re: Turbonator T3

Uhh, it's not easy to explain. I do it in Excel. I built a sheet to back-calculate the pumping efficiency (which is built-in to the TIII fuel table) in 2D, and the A/F for each data point. Then, you...

    Re: Turbonator T3

Absolutely! Do you have datalogging setup and working? We'll need to get some detailed data; see what's going on in the code.

    Re: Turbonator T3

No idea. I need an SBECII to test with so I can see what's going on.

Try them out. If they work, I'll update the .zip in post #1

I'll just post here when I'm done with all the updates. It's a small code change. You should be able to re-compile with your current template.

    Re: Turbonator T3

Think I'm onto something with the staging limiter and switchable boost (and probably cruise for that matter). In the T1 SBEC cal, there's a problem with the temp RAM copy of the switch state not...

I think the code is OK. But, I did see that the template has the wrong switches labelled. I need to fix that.

If you have all the tables set to 11psi, what do you expect it to go to when you switch it low? IE, what's your 'low' setpoint?

    Re: Turbonator T3

The version of MP Tune used won't have an impact on the cal or code running in the car. MP Tune is just the editor.

If you're logging the boost target, it's actually a MAP target. And, it is set...

    Re: Turbonator T3

Actually, cruise switches should work for the switchable boost. But, the names are assigned to the wrong bits. Try the one that's named 'brake switch' in the template. It's actually the cruise on/off...

    Re: Turbonator T3

For the staging limiter, what's the speed cutoff set to?

'91 or '92? If '92, the speed control switch won't work. It's an analog switch (kind of). I need to remap the way it works in order to use...
