    True and I had forgotten that area would be, however, could that added compression plus the flexing in that area be the cause? It is seeing way more force than stock.

    I wonder if it is adding to it DJ. When the engine rotates backward, the bobble strut bracket is transferring the force in a counter clockwise rotational direction. That part of the case would see...

    After reading this, I started thinking about moving the rear bobble strut attachment points from the diff to the bellhousing attachment points if possible?

    See above in blue. The main cage reinforces the case while the secondary cage comes off that and goes back to the diff area to support that. We are supporting the case in both the x and y directions

    1. How about a primary cage that goes from the bell housing to the side cover with an adjustment in the middle to allow for preloading. Think a turnbuckle.

    Of course it is clean. Every time he raced it at the end of last year it broke something. All the slung oil and grease had to be washed out!!!!!! LOL:D
