That's a good question. I'm not even sure how one would go about installing it correctly. I can only imagine that you're supposed to line it up on the 0* mark and then pull it back off, reinstalling...

Here is the photo of the cam gear. It's pretty standard fair with the exception of having multiple keyways.

Thanks for that info Todd. That would be an attractive way to shave a little rotating mass while making life easier when it comes to adjusting cam timing. I'll have to give those another look.

Do you know what the weight savings is? I was actually holding it in my hand thinking about how one could machine some weight out of it...
Is it worth doing anything with? I didn't even know I had it. It's round tooth, so it might be cool to put on my Lancer just to have it on there, not that you can tell once it's installed.
