    Re: The Holset he341 3.0L

I think MS2Extra and MS3 are documented very well in the documentation section of www.msextra.com as well as in the forum there.

Don't read the stuff at www.msefi.com because it's mostly useless.

I second the peak & hold boards. Two of them will cost you a little over $100 and give you brand new injector drivers that will drive any standard injector high-z or low-z without changes in MS.

    Re: The Holset he341 3.0L

I thinking of having a local machine shop make some on a lathe for me. Something with a slight interference fit or maybe just use some sleeve retainer compound to hold it in if they want too much...

    Re: The Holset he341 3.0L

Looks like some kind of bushing for the stock hydraulic rollers would be the way to go. Twelve bushings, that thread into the bore where the lash adjust used to install, that have holes bored in...

Like I said, that compressor works ok. It wants to slip off a lot for me too. I got mine for free though.

    Re: The Holset he341 3.0L

It works well enough that I used it to pull and re-install all the valves in a few different heads over the years. I used it for the valves on my 2.2 turbo too.

Not everyone who modifies cars seems to always do things the most correct way. I'm just recommending the best way to avoid ruining things. I'm not specifically telling you what to do but other...

    Re: The Holset he341 3.0L

Silly man indeed. Ever read those warnings that the MS flash program tells you before you flash firmware to your MS? There is a reason it always tells you to disconnect your injectors and coil(s)...

    Re: The Holset he341 3.0L

I don't have a clutch pedal switch. My car used to be an auto and I never installed a clutch pedal switch. I'm pretty sure that the switch closed when you push in the clutch pedal. I'm pretty sure...

All the ground wires that are in the MS harness basically all connect together once they reach MS. Most OEMs have ground return wires for the sensors that go straight back to the ECU to ensure a...

I prefer to do it a little differently then that picture. I have the ignition coil, injectors, O2 heater, ect powered by a relay that is also controlled by the MS fuel pump output. I have two...

The stock power fed wire to the pump is like 14awg or something. The voltage is going to drop at the pump as the load on the pump increased. If I were building a turbo car, I'd be running a red and...

I cut mine and mounted it backwards. I tried to find a picture that shows it but this was all I could find. I don't have a turbo, obviously, but I felt like making this change in case I ever did in...
