How did you communicate with delta on that cam? They seem off and on, tiny local company.
Re: 1986 Dodge Daytona Turbo Z T3 DOHC Tuned at FwdPerformance
I've never had a problem contacting them I call and talk to Jon

You need to have that oil pump gear cryo-treated also, or that I-shaft will eat it up and fail. Been there done that, riding down the hwy lol. Sounded like a machine gun

This is pretty cool. I talked to some guys there who had a 7 sec DSM and apparently one of them put together all my runs!

Great video. Beautiful car makes those 10 sec passes look easy. :)

I will try for sure. After watching these videos, I might be spinning at the line! If you watch the second run it definitely looks like my car slips. The third run sounds like a bark in the tires. Been also wondering about my MPH, seems slow???
Re: 1986 Dodge Daytona Turbo Z T3 DOHC Tuned at FwdPerformance
Having good video is a very good tool. It is hard to hear sometimes some tire slip on the launch or through the 60' in the driver seat. But some good video that can be slowed down or just the sound even can help fine tune some launch changes.
How much boost are you launching with?
Re: 1986 Dodge Daytona Turbo Z T3 DOHC Tuned at FwdPerformance
Oh, and as far as Cecil, I'll be looking to get in the day before, and probably only leave Sunday if i don't want to drive after a long day of racing.
There was a decent hotel we stay at and have breakfast before heading yo the track.
Mike, you watching this?

For sure. I'm going to have my kids get closer to the starting line to see what's happening. No idea how much boost I'm leaving with, no boost gauge in the car

I had it installed about 2 months and then it decided to lock me out and I had to send the unit in for repair. The major problem is that we can only get it to connect to an ancient laptop no matter what we try. Only my tuner in texas can connect to it, so at this time I cannot datalog or change anything in the cal.

Update! Finally got a computer to connect! Now I have to see if there is anything in the logs.
