I'll post one this afternoon. It was an afterthought to get a new connector so I didn't bother when I was in the garage. The pic from the link though is basically it. The key would be the only difference, but the shape and female type plug is what fits the coil.
And now determined more than ever to find one. The response back from the people selling this was that they are pulling these from harnesses, hence the "justified" cost.
I know a guy that can find things. But I'd need an exact pic.
BTW, if you are going to change the connector anyway, I think you can use a coil cand connector off some FWD V-6 chryslers.
Neither are the correct keying. The second looks the same as the oil pressure sender and SDS. If you have a new in box SDS check it out because some come with the connector and pigtail.
Looking these options up are close to the price of the Accel one that you won't need to cut for keying. It really only needs one side of the "mushrooms cut to fit I think.Attachment 63308Attachment 63310
It was posted in this thread awhile back about using the 1998+ coil as you can get the repair kit for a new connector from chrysler for a reasonable price.
I wonder how cheap the 98+ connector is through the dealer... aftermarket ones are still around the $20 range. Like Standard S2317
Yeah it would be worth it to use something newer if the total cost to upgrade isn't bad and terminals and connectors are available.

Buy/salvage pick a 1998+ coil and call it done.
The renewed interest in this reminded me that the clip on mine is broken and has been for awhile. Its held on with zip ties..
Has anyone found the bulkhead connector (male) found on the fuel pump hanger assembly? Or, alternatively, has anyone come up with an alternative connector?
I may have some information on parts and sources to add to this as I have been wrestling with the same problems on my project.
I picked up one of these a while back. The GLHS has spent the past 3 years apart in the garage, so I didn't have the chance to use it. The connector is a Yazaki, so it's not readily available, but it is a better connector than the bullet terminal style that we all deal with in the post-'88 realm.

Has anybody found pins or connector bodies for the 14 way connectors on the SMEC? I've read through this a couple times and havent seen it mentioned.
Not that I know of, since they seem to be like the SCC and PM connectors, they are molded in two pieces that snap together. Best solution I have had was salvage good ones with enough wire to splice them in.
I collected a few of the 14/16 way connectors and whittled them down for the barrel connector/pigtail to install in another plug when needed
if you do the same leave 4-6 inches of wire on them so you can make your splices in the harness at random lengths and avoid any splice bulges in your wiring
I don't know how to get the barrel out of the connectors you're reusing except to leave enough wire on it to heat with a lighter until it pulls/pushes or drops out
