Adhesive / Sealant?

Can anybody tell me what the adhesive or sealant is used around the bolt holes for for the hatch hinges and spoiler? My car also has an aftermarket sunroof which seemed to have the same stuff around it when I took it off. The stuff is black, and remains flexible / tacky.
If someone can tell me what it is, and where I could get some it would make my day!!

It may have been strip caulk....commonly made by 3M.
