HELP do you guys think this will leak??????????

We have a groove on our forged common block crank. We were told the seals cut the grooves into the shaft and that it can cause an oil leak. What are yalls opinions on this?

Front end you can almost see the wear mark, don't really see a grove in the video. can't they just polish it up?

no they are about an 1/32" deep.

What you need is a speedy sleeve to repair it:

I had a really deep groove on a customer's CSX like that. I dropped the oil pan so I could see the other side of the seal and just tapped the seal a tad beyond the groove. No leaks. Or a speedy sleeve is another option.
