Failed emissions test, need help with diagnosis
So recently, I took in my 86 SC for an emissions test, and it failed. The guy running the test said it was running rich, and I had been smelling fuel intermittently before.
2500 rpm Standard Test
CO% 1.20 6.06 Fail
HC (PPM) 220 206 Pass
Dilution CO+CO2% 6.00 16.57
Idle test Standard Test
CO% 1.20 0.77 Pass
HC (PPM) 220 144 Pass
Dilution CO+CO2% 6.00 14.37
Any suggestions? I'm new to fuel injection, and I'd rather get it right the first time.

Yep looks like you are too rich. o2 sensor ok?
Re: Failed emissions test, need help with diagnosis
It turns out I have an extra 02 sensor, so I'll install that and hope I pass this time.
Re: Failed emissions test, need help with diagnosis
They have emisions test's in Meridian? Even Dictator Inslee got rid of that in Wa state. Though I did like going just to see how much better my car got each time after modding it.
Anyway, Any codes? Since you're new to FI you probably don't know how to check them.

Re: Failed emissions test, need help with diagnosis
They only have two counties in Idaho with emissions, and I'm still living with family for a while. I did check the codes before I went, it only came up with the speed sensor code.
