Hose from Crankcase Separator to intake
Hey guys, going through redoing the cooling system on my 91 R/T, noticed a bunch of oil on the intake figured it was a bad PCV or boot, replaced both of those. When pulling the separator (lil black box thingie below fuel rail) discovered the hose to the intake is toast. It’s split and runs deep into the intake past the runners.
Is there an easy way to replace this short of pulling the intake, and the fuel rail etc? All the coolant stuff is out of the way at this point but I’m really starting to get frustrated with this car. It’s a clean 70k mile car but it’s been one thing after another and almost to the point of listing it and just walking away. Seems like everything I do to make it a more reliable car causes me to find another thing wrong.

Re: Hose from Crankcase Separator to intake
It can be done w/o pulling the intake. The new hose is just a slip fit, putting a small amount of lube on it will help it slide offer the nipple on the block.
If you decide to pull the intake, no real need to pull the injectors & rail.

Yeah I just got it back together this morning. Just a moment of weakness in trying to get this thing back together.
