Description:

Selling a 91 Spirit R/T.
First a little history on the car.
car belonged to Gary Gokey up in Denver,he used it as a driver and weekend drag car.Gary had the head welded,installed the JE pistons,cometic head gasket etc.shortly after, he sold it and the new owner drove for very short time before it lost the oil pump drive.that is where we stepped in and bought it.once in my possesion,i tore motor down and had crank turned,rods resized,new bearings including intermediate shaft.i installed a matched set intermediate shaft and oil pump and reassembled the shortblock.the JE pistons were perfect due to low miles after original build so they and the rings went back in after light cylinder hone.the rods have arp bolts and i installed arp head studs and reinstalled the cometic. When the motor lost oil pressure it scored the exhaust cam and the bearing journal on the head,i picked up a nice set of stock cams and we honed the cam journals in the head to clean them up.basically the shortblock is together and the head is installed,just needs finished.i did the timing belt idler mod also and i am including a belt tension gauge And the factory service manuals.

The body is really nice,it has some door dings and scratches and the clear is coming off on the top surfaces.

The interior is also very nice,just is dusty and maybe could use a light upholstery cleaning.

The windshield is cracked.

Car has 3" exhaust with a cutout.

Basically it just needs to be put back together and you will have a nice car.

It is being stored at Rapidtransit's house just east of colorado springs.we are very motivated to sell it and may even be able to meet in a reasonable distance for a small fee.

I have more pics i can share and can take more if needed..forgot to put the paper with my username and date when I took pics, if issue I will take more and fix that...you can see my last name on the crank in pic when I was putting engine together if that helps for now...

Looks like a very good deal to me, hope it finds a good home soon.

I tried to research it,no luck. I spoke with Gary about it as he is the one that installed it .apparently is a larger turbo that he put on cause original was tired.. he purchased it from a guy in Denver that had it on a different R/T. I have the original turbo also,it needs rebuilt.it is taken apart and in a box.
