1992-93 G-body interchange
While I await my new windshield on my Daytona restoration, I wanted to ask about some certain 92-93 parts
Does 1988-91 hidden headlights bumper work on a 1992? The hood looks different, but not the fenders. Any dashboards that work? I heard the last gen Lebarons fit well.
Any interchange info helps. Thank you.

Re: 1992-93 G-body interchange
The hoods and fenders are different. The '91 fender is different than the '87-'90 fender (the wheel well is moved). I have heard that the hood for '90 and '91 are both unique due to the latch position, but I've never confirmed that.
The dashboard itself is the same '90-'94 G and J body. 1990 Daytona's had a unique center console that was higher and the center stack did not have a space below the radio. The early dashes from '84-'89 will "fit", but I believe that the cowl mounting locations are different. The door cards don't match, either.
Re: 1992-93 G-body interchange
yeah the fenders are deff different on a 92
the radius of the front wheel openings wanders a little as it starts down the front of the opening - this in effect moved the front of the opening forwards - this causes issues with the wrap around of the nose extensions or air dam sections where they attach inside the wheel opening lip
mix the fenders and get a nose section that is either to long or to short to pin on in the wheel well
also EVERY corner, point or fold in the newer fenders is different when placed right beside an 86-9 fender
they very definitely came from a different set of dies and even look like they could be from a different supplier - THEY ARE that different when checked closely
I had an 86,7 9 and 92 all parked side by side for an extended time so I had a chance to see all the differences
92/3 the doors are different too
stamping on door for side glass trim - different
side window trim - different
this makes the bottom window sill higher on the car
the inside panel is also taller to match the outer trim and in turn raise the inside of the window sill too
there is a beautiful 91 listed on kijiji here in london ontario for 6K
red/black leather in red car
100% resto already done
it's in the for sale section here or on turbo dodge - saw it just the other day
I'll add the price has been DRASTICALLY reduced over the past year - by about half
worth a look if anyone wants a really decent car for REALLY fair money
painting a car deciently could cost simular money - better to get the car already finished for a FRACTION of the cost
no I don't know the seller his car speaks for it's self when you see it
