Description:
Losing storage on one of the R/Ts means that I can't have two white spirit R/Ts sitting in my driveway, so one or both have to go in 2-3 weeks.
Car#1 ran when parked, (fuel pump dead now) but is beat up externally. Interior is nice with 75k miles... I plan to keep the motor/568 and if no takers, will take wiring/suspension before parting/scrapping.
Car#2 had oil pump failure, but motor turns over. Rust free body and underside in great shape (I stored it since 2002) but paint peeling and one small dent on rear quarter. I think I have a couple pics here in my gallery from years back. Same situation as above: I'll be grabbing the motor/568 and suspension/wiring unless someone has an offer/trade.
Can't really give a price because it all depends on what someone wants. Ideally, like to see someone take car #1 as a roller ($ similar to scrap value to make it easy for someone), and maybe save car#2 to restore.
I've tentatively posted this before, but this time they have to go. Come and git 'em and let's have a sawzall party! {possibly open to trades, too}

What i would give to have your problem. lol Too bad you are on the complete opposite side of the country.

Hehehe.... I know. Every time a 1989 CSX came up for sale at a good price, it was almost always in CA!

This shows the sad state our hobby is in as there's no interest in an R/T roller or parts car. I'm not "hatin'" on the guys here as we are all in the same boat. hehe It looks like the good R/T might be saved by me if my friend's offer of letting me store/use his garage for me to redo the bottom end still stands. Hopefully, the turbo is still good.

yea, better off parting the bad body one, storing the parts and putting the good body in storage until you can find time/money to put it all together then enjoy driving it

In the same boat, can't get rid of my R/T roller, its getting parted and crushed soon, what a waste, :(

I would love to find an roller RT but like mentioned before, to find one that is decent paint and body you would have to find it close to home or nearly free because even at free plus $1k shipping you are into it more than it is worth unless the body is great. A 8v 568 Spirit RT is my dream Summer daily driver. Maybe when i am rich I can pull it off. lol

Finding a roller mint is like winning the lottery.
I still have mine, your not too far away, hate to see it crushed, :(

The sad state is the state of Illinois, where it's getting harder and harder to find ANY junkers or rollers to pick from. If you weren't all the way in Maine...
Re: Two 1991 Spirit R/T's rollers, or possibly complete
Holding out for a 23-30 year old car that is rust free and with really good paint is sorta living in denial and one might find them self in the wrong hobby for an older car. If you want a classic car, or an older hobbyist vehicle.... restorations/paint jobs sadly go hand in hand 98% of the time.
edit: like me.... a large % of the TM crowd are on a tight budget, and having a TM painted and fully restored is just a difficult thing to do, hence why some hope to find a mint roller on the cheap. I understand, just saying that it's really difficult.... and people should pass on solid or rare cars just because it needs paint.

And with this sage commentary, Turbo-Mopar entered the next phase of it's existence, the rotisserie era...

should have read: "and people should *not* pass on solid or rare cars just because it needs paint"
Brain-fart city all of last night, apparently.

do you still have the two rollers?
