Alternator Bracket for a 1988 Dodge Daytona
Hi,
At present, I have a need for an alternator bracket for the '88 Dodge Daytona. The mechanic said the present bracket is in need of repairs. However, the mechanic said their attempts at repairing the original bracket have not been successful. Also, he said the part is not made any longer.
I did a search for such situations. It appears that the part in question is 4323295. Also, it appears that the part is available. I am not sure if the part is available through any of the forum participants.
I don't have photos or more specifics at present. I am just wondering if my mechanics assessment is accurate or if I am missing anything in my research.

A lot of the older brackets are in need of replacement or repair. I believe Rich Bryant sells a solid piece to replace one style of them.
