Re: Parting out 90 Daytona LOTS OF STUFF
Ah, I actually thought it was silver since it's an ES. I forgot starting in 1990, you could get color-matched ground effects. I really appreciate you getting pictures though!
Re: Parting out 90 Daytona LOTS OF STUFF
Ballpark shipped to 14609 for the AC components? Hoses, condensor, compressor (good or core?), switches and sensors on the AC lines, bracket for the filter/dryer?
I'm toying with the idea of putting AC back in my car, but not sure if it's worth the outlay of cash.

the A/C in the car did work. The compressor was an aftermarket replacement about 35k miles ago. The clutch on it was replaced more recently. I'm not sure of the age of the rest but most likely original. Just to be sure, you do not want the evaporator in the interior right?
Hmm..shipping is tricky because its both big, heavy, fragile, and you are as far away as possible. In this case a commercial address will probably save alot, can use a fedex/office that you can pick up from if you dont have a work/commercial address to use. I'll guess $65 for shipping because it will be multiple boxes. So the total lets say $250 shipped?
If that sounds good let me know and I will get a more accurate shipping quote based on measurements and what not.
Re: Parting out 90 Daytona LOTS OF STUFF
I just priced out all that stuff new, and for the cost difference I might as well do it that way.
Thanks anyway.
While I'm here. Do you happen to have any non-common blocks laying around? I need the front crankshaft seal retainer off a non common block engine. The one behind the timing gear. I broke mine and I'm racecarless until I get it replaced. should be PN 5214788 but might look like 5214786 stamped on the end.

Re: Parting out 90 Daytona LOTS OF STUFF
Hey I am looking for front knuckles. They need to be with bolt on caliper bracket and pressed in bearings.
Let me know please.

How can I tell if they are pressed in bearings? I can take pictures of them from inside the engine compartment, because the engine is out. Will that be good enough?
Re: Parting out 90 Daytona LOTS OF STUFF
The bolted in hub/bearing will have 4 15mm bolt heads on the backside of the knuckle arranged in a square pattern around the CV axle pass-through.

bump!
going to have to scrap this car soon so if anyone wants something now is the time!
added more stuff!! see first post
Re: Parting out 90 Daytona LOTS OF STUFF
Wait... I thought all of the knuckles with bolt-in hubs had the calipers with the replaceable brackets??? The one above has the caliper guides as part of it, but that definitely has a bolt-in hub! I swear, I read about these cars day and night and I still can't keep them straight.

I have no idea, if better pics are needed I can definitely do that though
