TO3 (t2) turbo, factory rebuilt by Garrett

wrong info, please see my new F/S post for an 85 T1 Garrett turbo

Scott, This is 85 TI turbo. Compressor cover and mods to the exhaust scroll would need to be done to use on 86 and newer TI and TII models.
Here is pic. of difference in 85 and 86 exhaust scrolls. IMO, pretty fair price considering Garrett factory reman. and no core charge. GLWS

They notched the 86+ T1 housings?? I've seen the 87 T1 exhaust manifolds notched but haven't noticed them on 86 models being notched. I haven't looked at the T1 turbo's by year to see if that was the case as well.

ahhhh I see! thanks for that! Ill change the title, I knew it was either the t1 or t2 cuz isnt the t3 a bigger A/R?
