Anyone using a SMEC with the 0-1V output from a wideband?
Just as the title says. I have a 0-1V output available on my wideband, but I haven't messed with it since it made the car run absurdly rich with the first cal I was running. I'm running a BoostButton cal now. Is anybody using an aftermarket cal (or a stock cal for that matter) and using only a wideband sensor instead of running a separate stock sensor to feed the ECU?

I'm using the LC-1's narrow band (0-1V) output to the SMEC with a T-SMEC 16.9 calibration in my Turbo Van. Runs great. Gas mileage is Ok I think. It's been setup that way for a few years but lately I have been daily driving it since mid April.

i also run the innovative LC-1 using the 0-1v output wired into my sbec. works great!

Not with SMEC, LM but I have it hooked up. I've seen some intermittent rich situations, but unsure what triggered the issue, electrical or the wideband. I have a new one on order to arrive today, so we'll see if the wideband went bad and snowballed to where it has gotten to, which is running pig rich for extended periods of time or something else, if the problem persist. It's from a Zeitronix system and I'm fairly certain it's a Bosch O2.

Im using the 0-5v output from my wideband hooked to the Smec in my van. The Turbonator code has an internal function to convert the signal to a narrowband signal. You then can log the wideband signal using MPscan.

Because I was helping rob test the code the default values in the cal are setup for a TechEdge wideband but the table is fully adjustable. Just pick your AFR at 0v and Pick your AFR at 5v and make the line linear.

Very interesting! Is it a different pin, or is it the same pin for the normal O2 input?

And a nice way to wire it in is to cut off the connector side of an old o2 sensor and splice into that rather then touching your actual harness. Then you are plug and play.

That's exactly what I did.
There's a 'Spartan' Wideband available from 14point7. The controller is built into the cable. If you don't need/want a WB Gauge (IE, just want to log it with MP Scan), it would be a great budget way to get a WB.

Exactly how I did it, If you had one that was integrated into a cable like the innovate or other styles, you can even use the heater circuit and grounds to power it up.

This is what i did so far to prepare MeanMini's v19.6 cal for the WB2NB function...
My MTX-L is 0v = 7.35 AFR and 5v = 22.39 AFR.
It sounded like that is all what mentioned earlier in the thread.
Its the offset i really wasn't sure about. I was thinking it might be better to start off close to 0 offset.

You don't want to adjust that first pictured table. That converts the measured AFR into a simulated NB signal for use in the O2 feedback control.
You only want to adjust the WB voltage to AFR table.
The offset will only affect part throttle. You can use it to force the ecu into running richer or leaner in closed loop.

Ok, I'll put that one back. Its ok though if the graph doesn't include the same AFR range? It used to only have 19.xx for the maximum value of the x-axis.
