2018 DV-SDAC Turbo-Mopar Invasion Day at Cecil County Dragway 11-17-2018

Saturday October 27, 2018
$35 at the gate to race.
$10 to spectate/bench race.
This will be for open Test & Tune.
There will also be a nostalgia drag event running that day. Some of us locals have gone to these in the past and the lanes are MUCH less crowded than on TrackToys events of years past. Also the track prep is usually really good.

Come on out and hang out, make some passes or not. It's always a good time.

I plan on coming. Hopefully the car will follow in tow.

It was looking unlikely for me with being on nightshift through that weekend weds-weds. And now even less likely since the van got hurt.

I plan on being there!

I’m going to try and have my Omni fixed by then. If I do get it going I’ll be aiming for a trap speed of 100mph. If nothing else I’ll be down to spectate.

This weekend I'll post a list of parts for sale I can bring down, cheap! Looking to make some space. Fuel and toll money for the trip.

Nice Charger doors $20, fenders, $10 each, Charger louvers, $50, trailing arms $50, aftermarket 89 CSX grill with one new headlamp $50, etc.

I want to run the truck and Kyle's CSX

Would one of you veterans mind helping me bleed off my map to get over 14psi? I have had it at 14 psi for a good bit now but want to hit it with the nitrous. Don’t want to hit boost cut on the nitrous.

I'll be there with something.

Here comes the all-too-familiar "Keep your eye on the weather" post. Those coming from long distances especially. The probability of racing this Saturday is diminishing. Those of you that have made arrangements to buy/sell/trade something may want to start discussing contingency plans.
Looking at the schedule for the rest of the year, It appears that 11/17 could be an alternate date for a get-together.

100% chance of rain, that sucks.

Is this still going to happen? I tried to take my nephew to the mopar show at MIR last weekend to find out it got canceled. I want to try to make it up to him by having him see some racing before the end of the year. . .

As of now, the track is open and a number of us are planning on racing!
