Is anyone still making these?
This is the first of the valve body we had made using the newer VB core design. This one is reverse pattern (PR123N) with clean neutral, low band apply, and reverse circuit matches forward line pressure. I'm hoping to test it this weekend at IFO, there is a trans brake option.

Oooooh, fancy. :)
Then you just need a solenoid or air shifter...

I will post up for sure, hoping to install trans and engine tomorrow night.
I want one!!!
What happened to the picture of a valve body? lol
Me too.
Boots, excited to see you moving forward! Any other purchases out there we could get in on someday?
Are you using a line lock along with this to prevent shockloads?
Guessing you have a good enough converter to forget about lockup?
Well after a week of no sleep I finally fired the car 2am Saturday night and loaded the car and went to IFO Columbus. Driving the car to the pits trans shifts feel great and the clean neutral works as it should. I was very excited to get down the track, until I had a major issue happen while stalling the car in the pitts. I was not able to make a single pass.
I'm still working on the aluminum drums, I might do another batch of billet 6 pinion planets. I just put willwood 4 piston calipers on to foot brake the car and I do not run a lockup converter and I'm showing around 4% slip.

Nooo! I wanted to hear good stuff, not bad stuff!
I might be interested in the beefy trans parts, for spares.
Let me know when you know more.

In for parts hoarding.
I think English racing is still working working on obtaining billet drums for the dsm up here In the PNW. Are you doing them local?
----
Note, summer 2016 Jeff Lucas had billet drums in his DSM and was able to throw down full power and run a 7.38 at World Finals
A friend of mine is working on the drums and they are always busy, so I'm sure my project has been put on hold. I think I'm going to take what he has done so far and source someone else so I can see a final product soon. Yea I saw that, $1200 a piece I believe. I'm trying to keep the drums around $800, I do this for fun don't try to mark people up unless I have to use my own money.
Also a lot of my funds have been directed to cylinder heads sine it has been such a big problem to have someone reliable. Both cars haven't made a single pass due to this.
Did you have any better luck with the rest of the season?
Any updates on this at all? really interested in the valve body- especially the trans brake
I don't believe he has made a pass with it yet. I'm also very interested in the success of that valve body. It will be pricey though, but really worth it for the die hard drag racer if it works properly.
VB has about 20 hits on it, by far the best shifting I've ever had in the car. Plus clean neutral is easier on the aluminum rods. I raced 2 events(sat/sunday) in june all low 9 sec passes and IFO event. I'm hoping to have it out in a couple months. I made some changes to the converter to help the stall and keep the car in the powerband.
We have been out of the loop when I thought there would be some sales offered for the runs you did. I signed up to follow Sled on FB because of missing gear sales (didn't know the page existed till someone shared a pic of the old Hotrod car). Anywhere to follow you?
Did you get the Billet Drum?
As questioned above, using transbrake? Combining line lock and Trans brake?
