Check this one out too. Power distribution block for VW. Apparently OE's were problematic. This is an aftermarket problem solver.

I will have to check it out next time we get a vw in the shop. Only bad thing about the GC/Durango block is the fuses aren't replaceable.
88-95ish fullsize GM trucks have a nice distribution block similar to that, aside from fuses. Located on the passenger side of the firewall.
Grabbed this off of a 95 lebaron vert. I'm still going to run the durango fuses for the alternator and amplifier when I do an audio setup.
