there were two different control panels used for a daytona .. might be really early vs everything else .. so dodge truck .. maybe maybe not
the two panels do look different
I know the heater only 84's had a unique to 84 heater box you can replace the heater core in .. without ripping out the dash
84 heater core & hose in firewall position are unique too
I'd presume this may hold true to 84 heat a/c cars too but I never looked to be sure
